Title: Thebes(dog leg?)
Post by: Outbackbob48 on March 19, 2014, 03:21:48 pm
Big ole ugly thick Thebes, Had a hard time getting thin before I lost width, surprisingly notchs went fairly easy. Thanks for looking, Oh check out this nice 3 legged stool my brother in law made for me, said 3 legs won't tip or wobble on uneven ground, almost way to nice for knapping. Bob

Tower, not sure, :o was in a bucket with my flint ridge. Has some small crystal pockets and typical layers. I had a tuff time with it. :D Bob

Looks like one I would find in Indiana Bob. Nice gift too! Looks like lower grade hornstone to me but just a guess. Nice notches and point!
