Title: First Successful Hunt!
Post by: Japbow on March 17, 2014, 12:28:51 am

      Hey All!

Finally got one of these little buggers...
A strategically parked car made the perfect blind
for me to get within about 5 yards. Hit mid-air as
it took off in the opposite direction. Used my shorty
yew "D" bow. A blunt tip penetrated the lower back
to devastating effect. Probably expired within about
      3 seconds.

      Japanese Mountain Dove...Yum,yum

Thanks Guys! I'm super stoked to get my
first kill. Also, what a tasty, little bird it was!

Oh! I forgot to mention, in the spirit of the
primitive hunter, I ate the heart...raw!!!
It was actually quite decent, although I'm
used to eating all manner of unusual sushi.

Now, if only I could get a piggy...
