I finished her up and sent about 100 arrows sailing through her! Without a doubt my fastest bow to date!! It was quite an adventure with this one from endless cracks early to initially coming in underweight, its been quite the rollercoaster ride. But with some perseverance and a lot of input from this community I was able to bring her home beautifully! I can't wait to venture into the CO mountains with her this September!
The Stats
- 60# @ 27 and ½
- 60 tip to tip

Congratulations on a fine weapon. Well done.
-
Sweeeeeeeet Rob. That is going to be my next build. WOW NICELY DONE
-
That came out real nice in spite of the issues you had to deal with on the bow. Hope you put a tag on an elk this fall, that bow will get it done. :)
-
Very nice bow man! Hey what part of CO will you be hunting in? Ill be in Silverton this season for elk as well!
-
You know the difference between really good looking people and really good looking bows? Both can get by on their looks, but a really good looking bow often has pretty good performance stats to go with it! I am referring to the bow in these photos, not the guy. It's the bow that has the looks in this case! PA is going to have to get by on skills!
I bet this bow will do more than turn heads, brother bowyer. I just bet!
-
That, is a beautiful bow, great job, and I admire your perseverance! Best of luck in your hunt with it, any hunt!!!!

-
good job brother..and good hunting!!!
-
@DBar: thanks! There definitely were some obstacles to overcome along the way. ;)
@clean_missed: thanks man, cloth skin material for one bow was probably $2.50!
@IdahoMatt: thanks, glad to have you along for the ride!
@TimBo: Thanks!
@patrick: Yep, just got the big shot and love it already!!
@higheagle: thanks, she will definitely try!
@dvshunter: thanks much man!
@hunterbob: thanks, it was a blast. Good luck with yours!
@badly bent: thanks, I cant wait to hit the mountains with her!
@seminolewind: thanks! Ill be west of Gunnison in 65
@JW: Its not that hard to make bows that are better looking than me! ;) Im loving the speed and smooth draw. I have no doubt that a well-placed arrow will do the job!
@Robby: thanks much man, I appreciate it! It seems to me that the prepared tend to get luckier, so Im doing what I can. ;)
@CMB: thanks!
@Tracy: thanks much!
@Chris; thanks bro, it definitely wont be my last! Practice is my middle name. I was out stump shooting yesterday.
@neolithicman: thanks! I appreciate the handle compliment! Handles are probably my favorite part of the bow.
@Badger: thanks Steve, thats the plan!
@Zuma: well go for it! Thanks!
@vinemaplebows: thanks I appreciate it!
@zenart: thanks much! I will definitely update everyone when I get back.
@ohma2: thank you! Grips are fun. I dont prefer the wrapped ones personally; I like the feel of wood on my hand and to keep it narrow. I try to set it up so my hand slides right into my shooting position.
@4dog: thanks bro, I appreciate it!

Thats a stunner, nice work.
-
Looks awesome, love the side profile at full draw
-

-
Awesome work sir. Good luck turning for arrows red with it...

did you say you used beaver balls for silencers?
-
Very nice bow. Looks like the recurves are working a bit.
-
@dwardo: Stunner :D 8) I like it; we have have a name for her!
@falcon: cool man, thanks!
@stixstones: thanks man! I dont know about the elk laying down but hopefully she gets to fling an arrow at one!
@OneBow: thanks, Ive been turning plenty of arrows red so far!
@bowman: sure beaver balls, the softest silencers there are. The beaver behind my house is pretty pissed though! :o ;) Got them off Amazon.
@Mark: thanks much! They are pretty thin but if they are working its not much.
-
Looks awesome. A heavy hitter as well at 60#. 8)
-
Thanks Jesse! Yep she flings them pretty fast! Very accurate as well, I may be a recurve convert!
