Just finished my first successful selfbow. ;D But now I'm needing to put a grip on. I have some leather that will work but really dont wont to screw this up so what is the easiest way to stitch it on. I know this has got to be easy I just feel lost at this point. HELP!!! please

Congrats on finishing your bow! I'm glad you asked about grips - I will be using that first link. My grips are usually like the second link. You can roll the edges in if you want also, which gives it a more finished/rounded off look.

Thanks guys for the links. That helped alot. Will be shooting it this weekend at the Dan Quillian state shoot. It's a bit slower than my Big Jim bow but I love this thing already and cann't wait to get started on another.

I just finished my first 2 leather wrap grips and was in the same boat as you woodswalker. I screwed them both up on the stitching first time round. One with leather lacing and one with waxed string for lacing. As long as the holes were correct re-lacing wasnt a big deal and they both look pretty good now for being do overs. Here is what i did with the string and I like the way it turned out the best. Good luck!
