Hey All!
I can't take all the "bowing" anymore, so I'm left with
no choice but to strike out on my own! My contract at
the all girls Christian JHS & HS will be up at the end of
this month. I found a great location right in front of
a big train station and a name has already been
decided...
Ready!? Here goes...ARCHER ENGLISH!!!
Ok, I know you all love it. Me too!
Archery is practiced at New Year's in Japan and is a
well-known metaphor for life and going for it! So,
it should go over well with the masses.
My one issue, among many, that I'd like some help
with is my school sign. Does anyone have or know
of a place to find or commission a cool archery logo
or image? I did a google image search and found a
cool looking Assyrian archer, but it would be nice if
I could find something NA...
I'm looking forward to any replies, and thank you in
advance!
Japbow.

Hi Japbow
Not quite sure what kind of picture you are looking for, but do make sure you use something that is licensed to allow you using it for commercial use or you might get legal troubles ;)
Anyway - could it be something like this you need?
https://openclipart.org/search/?query=bow&page=2
If you have a bit of flair for drawing on your computer, this might be the perfect tool for making your own image:
http://www.inkscape.org/en/
Inkscape is completely free and even opensource (not important for your use, but it's an appealing filosophy).
I hope this helps - and wish you the best on your venture. :)

Congrats on starting your own school Japbow! It has to be an exciting undertaking.
-
Sounds exciting, keep us posted.
Are you looking to hire a designer or just looking for friendly suggestions?
-
Thanks! I'm very excited about the whole thing.
As for archer images...just friendly suggestions
would be appreciated at this point. If nothing
jumps out at me, I'll think about having some-
thing designed.

Good luck on your new venture. I think having something designed and original may be the best route to avoid any kind of infringement on someone else's design or trademark. You will still need to have it trademarked for yourself.
-
It doesn't cost much to license images either.
People get away with copyright infringement
like crazy over here. It's worse in China.

look up ....free archer silhouette...thousands of clipart free!...good luck bud!
