Title: knife raffle for Del WINNER ANOUNCED!!!
Post by: killir duck on March 10, 2014, 09:02:06 pm: alrighty it's been okayed by the mods so here we go.

the money is going to getting Del the Cat to the tennessee classic, i know somebody has done something for you sometime, heres you a chance to pay it forward, you know that's kinda what this forums all about guys.

i forged this knife from 5160 spring steel, it's about 7 1/2" long and about 3/16" thick, walnut and osage scales, the osage is the last of some I got last winter from Osage Outlaw, and the walnut came from Blaflair2, so we got some good PA mojo going on. so far it's got 4 coats of tru-oil but i'll give it 8 or 10, i still need to final polish the blade and make a sheath.

$5 for 1 ticket
$23 for 5

just post how many you want want here, and then get ahold of jwhalverson he's got a paypal acount going for this and you can put your money there.

i'll draw the winner in let's say about 3 weeks.

thanks parnell, i haven't made very many of these 2 wood handles but i think this the best one to date, thier tough because you gotta get 8 surfaces perfectly flat and even instead of just 4.

For the price of a breakfast at Ihop (his favorite) and a ride to school, he showed me how everything works. So now I am set up for billing you thru your email address for the raffle tickets.

Please send me a private message with 1) your email address 2) how many tickets you want. As I send the invoice, I will then p.m. killirduck so that he has a record of the number of tickets you are getting! Clear as mud? Great, submit your questions on the back of a $20 bill.

If you are holding out to the last, DON'T! If I can buy the ticket in the next few days, we'll get a great price. We have just a bit over 50% raised, we are on the home stretch folks!
