-
Nice looking stash, ohma. You'll forget about your sore old back once you start converting those staves to bows. ;)
-
Looks like that should keep you busy for a spell

yeah pat i think this might be the last go around i have 30 some staves put up and drying plus what is already dry,so this aught to be enough to do me till im down and out.i had one osage log around 10 inches across pin me to the ground after trying to pick it up, just not the spring chicken i used to be.i wont be quiten till i cant make shavings though.like the better half said,BE CAREFULL OUT THERE.

Inspiring! ...I've got a date with a hickory tree next month if we can get a little spring like weather to get the sap running.

I started carering my wedges with me to the woods when I cut bow wood , we only get one body and when it starts breaking down the docs. can only patch it up .
I think I've cut enough osage to keep me busy till I'm ready to cut hackberry and other wood .

Stocking up on the gold stuff is satisfying, but what I really want to see right now is that green stuff in the background.

Nice haul there. May you be scrapin and splittin for many years to come!

Man aint that the truth. -10 here right now and the snow won't go away. I got tons of HHB and buckthorn to get plus planning on some ERC, oak, and mulberry.

Yeah I know what you guys mean I like a little winter but this one has me wishin for spring.

I've seen a couple places locally that have lines of Osage as wind breaks. Wonder if I'd have any luck asking to take a couple, lol.
