Did a little bit of foraging the other day. I try to learn as much as possible about what's growing wild that I can eat.

That is really cool, Tim. Thanks for the information, they are everywhere in my yard. I always said you had to be lazy to go hungry in Florida.

Cool, good job. That wort, might not taste so bitter, if you flick the bird poop off, first. :P ::) When I was a kid, my friends and I would pull up the hearts of palmettos, and eat the tender part. Sort of like Swamp Cabbage, (Cabbage Palm heart) Cabbage Palm, or Sable palm.

Spiderwort is pretty wide spread. We had tons of it in Bluffton, SC and it grows here in the mountains. Do the flowers come in different colors down thee. In Bluffton it came in blue, purple, white and pink. Up here just blue.

purple and a dark pink are common. White is pretty rare though.
