Title: viburnum arrows

how long should i let dry before stripping ? and how long to dry before making into arra?

Viburnum will check if you strip them too soon. Give them a few weeks at least before stripping them and a month after that before you make arrows.   You might try stripping one or two but leave about 1" of bark on each end. This may prevent the shoots from checking as they dry.   The more time you give shoots to dry and season the better arrows they will make. Collect lots of shoots so the rest will be seasoning while you work on the first batch.
