this piece of viney didnt want to cooperate. tiller kept falling apart(partially my cocky attitude<---fixed) the dye wouldnt take in some areas AND while i was shooting it in the upper nock hit the rafter in the shop and snapped off! anyways this piece of junk has been wrestled and tamed and my ego has severely shrunk and im back on my humble knees. i was lucky enough to get the lost wieght back with some heat treatment.
and i need to stop taking pictures with my phone.....

beautiful bow as always.
-
You done a fine job on that one Bryce :) Everybody gotta eat humble pie every now and then. It keeps us on our toes ;)
-
looks dang fine to these eyes,.another beauty! 8)
-
Looks like you whooped it into shape in the end. You're really cranking out a lot of nice bows lately. Keep it up, buddy.
-
Looks like a great bow to me.
-
Don't look like a piece of junk to me turned out real nice.
-
looks great!! hope that stave you sent me is less temperamental!
-
I am sorry it gave you fits bro.it looks like you tamed it.you got that handle wrap down.i think you did a great job.
-
Looking great as usual. What was the diameter of the branch you used for that one. I like that braced profile. Keep em coming.
-
Thanks guys:)
I need to find my darn camera. These pics are crap.
4dog, the stave I sent you is gonna be a nice shooter:)

Thank buddy! The wood I'm been collecting continues to pile up they need to be turned into bows before I run out of shop space ;)
Also I've come into a lot if free time!
-
If that piece of junk did not want to cooperate wizh you ... just send it to me, Bryce! ;D
You made a piece of art, man!!!
-
Way to stay with it ! Looks good- Bob.
-
Bryce we can all use a little humility from time to time. I really like the style you put in your bows. I may have to locate myself a piece of this Oregonian wood.
-
Reality checks are the single best learning tool Im thinking Brycey boy. I know I get whacked up side the head here and there and it always makes my next bow just a fuzz better!
I like this one, I like the spec's to. Very slick tiller as well.
-
Nice looking bow all around. Your handles are always especially nice.
-
Pretty sweet man, all your bows are bad ass. Anyway it's motivating, my goal is to one day make great bows too! In the mean time ill just make my little arrowheads and drool over other people's bows !
-
Great final product ! Glad you persevered! 8)
-
very very nice

I can't see any sign of struggle in the end product! Man that's nice! Josh
-

Thanks guys, I can tell you guys understand :)
I'll try an get better pics up.
-
Your being too hard on yourself Bryce. That bow doesn't look bad at all, looks real nice actually and I bet it shoots pretty fine as well. I know how you feel though cause I am that way and always want the next one I make to be
nicer than the last. :)
-
Well, I've never seen a "piece of crap" look that gooooood! I wonder.....do you even know what a piece of crap is? That is an amazing bow you made. As others have said "As usual!" Your skill is what pulled that one through man. Many would have tossed it into the firewood pile. You should be pleased friend.
-
Well believe it or not I'm not that hard in myself and have no problem throwing a bow in the burn barrel.
Thanks for the compliments guys! Always nice to have positive feedback.
Here's that pic you wanted Shawn. The bow is 1 5/8th wide. The narrowed ends of the handle are 3/4" maybe a little less.

Nice I like it.
-
That is some seriously good looking "crap" 8) >:D
-
Nice bow! Always a pleasure looking at your work, young feller! Nothing like a good lumpy selfbow to bring us all back to earth! I've had more than my share. I had one that I worked on and looked at (and cussed at) for more than a year. Broke a tip off bracing it, big deflex in the bottom limb, knots in both limbs, blah, blah, blah... I never thought it would turn out, but it became one of my favourite bows. 8)
-
Bryce that is a fine bow. You should be proud :)
