Title: ash backed canary wood

60.5"ntn pyramid ,52#@27,1-3/4"@fades.I was pleased at how very little set thiis one took!canary wood makes a good belly wood!tiller critique welcome,there was 1/2" reflex glued in the handle.yes I got to buy longer shirts!lol!

Nice bow!  I have a board of canary wood that I bought on a whim and remember being blown away by the wood database figures when i checked later.  Still need to get that glued up.   More pics please...

Sweet looking bow!! I've never worked with canary wood. Tiller looks great to me.

Really sweet looking bow. i have used canary wood for knife handles and its a very good looking wood. first time ive seen a bow made of it

Good looking bow.  Tiller looks perfect.  Where does canary wood grow?  I've never worked with it.

thanks everyone for the kind words!it weghed in at 14.4oz after a couple coats of finish.the outer limbs are sanded oval to spindles on the last 6" to keep the mass down.thank's again

thank's,quarter sawn white ash.mr hrhodes ,canary wood comes from central and south america i bought this stuff for about 10bucks a board foot,so about 30$ for a piece 3"x6 feet x 15/16ths thick up here in canada.
