Title: Bobwhite quail wings
Post by: criveraville on January 15, 2014, 03:16:14 pm
I have about 20 bobwhite quail wings. I haven't seen a quail in over 15 years. A friend of mine brought them to me.

Anyone interested in some?

They can be used for regalia and I know the Native American's used them for fletching, but not as commonly as other feathers.

I'd like to have some to decorate the back of a bow. Would you be interested in bees wax?

PM sent. I've got a dog that needs training, and some arrows that need fletching.

I use quail wings to entertain my little kestrel.  He spends a good 2 hrs on one tearing every single feather apart!
