The fact that I will be back on American soil in 30 damn days ! I will be able to get back in my workshop and drink beer and make shit! I already have a hog hunt set...man I got all kinds of cool plans.
Its like I always say the best thing about coming to Afghanistan is learning to appreciate what you have at home. having that genuine heart felt appreciation for how good we have it in the states is worth all the pain and suffering !

Give me a shout when you get back .I can help drink beer and watch you make stuff ;D.There's a knapp-inn next month in Dade City ,might be something you'll like to do.I think Eddie's going Parnell usually comes up .We can drink beer and make stuff there too.

Hope you'll be back in time for Dade City. The Classic is an open affair for sure and if you can go you've gotta try and make it. You'll find a new home as people will be welcoming you with open arms. For me to say it's the best is no stretch and WELL worth the drive. Get your butt home safely!

Was hoping to meet you while in FL. just didn't pan out. :( I'm not sure if riding with Eddie is much safer than where you been, :-\ but maybe you can drive most of the time. ;) :) :)Hope you enjoy being back in the states and thanks again. ;) :)

It was hard to understand why we were treated so bad when we got home from Viet Nam but I think Americans have learned from the past and are showing a greater appreciation for what our American Hero's are doing to protect this great Nation. Enjoy your beer on American soil and know that you and all service men and women are appreciated for their service.

I got us some nice Israeli rock getting shipped home with the samples. We can beat on it at the Knap In. Almost every hill is covered in flint and chert from good to excellent grade. Just got to watch out for yellow scorpions and little vipers.

Seminole, be careful how you send your stuff home. When my cousin came back from Afganistan their stuff was sent back on some sort of shipping container that was sent thru Pakistan unchaperoned. When it got home there was a hole cut on the top and all their stuff was gone except for what they carried with them in their duffle. They got my good ping pong paddle that I let him take with him and the army issued sunglasses he was going to give me. Sorry pieces of crap. Its alright though. We were just thankful to have him back safe. Stuff is just stuff.

EJ, it hasn't been shipped yet, but will be in Orlando in a few weeks. It gives me more time to High Grade. I can't be real greedy, the Clients paying the bill. my return ticket is for Jan.20. I'm sure I'll have to stay a few days longer, I never go home when they tell me. Anyway, the client wants to give me a Sedgeway Tour of Jerusalem before I go along with another tour of TelAviv.
Some F-16's pounded a few spots in Gaza yesterday after the Hezbollah decided to send some of their bottle rockets this way. I'm gonna ask for more pay ;D.
