So the previous tenants in the house I'm renting left some retro photography equipment behind. She was a photographer and said that it was all outdated and that she had intended to throw it out. I checked it all over earlier today and while for a photographer it might be junk, I found a couple things I could use. This is my favorite.

I did some heat bending with it tonight, and it is so nice to be able to set the gun up and then let it do its work while I go do something else. This is one of the biggest improvements I've made to my work setup in a while, so I thought I'd share it.
I was also able to re-purpose a couple lamps for some mobile lighting in the shop as well.

Nice. I broke my desk lamp heat gun holder in a fit of shop rage a few weeks back. Im making my next from an old cymbal stand that I retired.

that is a great idea.thanks for sharing.

Nice! I need to find me something like that! A fit of rage? That's funny!

That right there is another reason I like to check in on you fine bunch of folks from time to time. Others just see junk we see opportunity first junk later. Thanks for sharing.
