This one was a Lot more believable than the Sinew Backed bow that was built and shooting in a week's time.

Looked like a VM bow...
They did call it Maple...

They called the guy helping him build it a Master Bowyer and World Renowned Archer...

And it did look like a fairly straight piece of wood.

But he isn't self sufficient by any stretch. He would starve to death in a hurry. Ever notice he is almost always on some type of foot path? That's not just from him using it.
