I recently bought a ton of green painted garden stakes. Ive tried diff.,ways to get red of it. Does anyone know the best way to remove the Greene.

I think it is a water based stain on them. The ones I made arrows from years ago would bleed the green color until sealed. You won't get the color out totally but you might try washing them with warm water and soap or an alcohol wipe down.

I agree with Pat....probably cheap water base, just wash with soap and water, then when ready to fletch... stain with a nice soft brown color and "Presto" cool looking arraws

Thanks guys ill try it. Its goin to be neg40 so its arrow time. The work shop is frozen. Lets hope I dont have a ton of turkey feathers soon. All my birds are free range.

Oh no! I luv my birds . I did buy them for feathers, but they are not cost effective.
