Title: osage selfbow
Post by: Renacs on January 01, 2014, 10:19:41 pm
This is a osage l.b. that I made for a 15yr. It's 40# @24" and 59". 0set. A little heavy for him, but he'll grow into it. Plus I gave him a light# b.b.  and I just wanted to see if I could figure out to post pics. Don't thinks it goin to post pics.

sorry now $ shot. I was in a mad dash to get it done. Went from stave to bow in three days. Not to mention the first stave I started with ended with a large crack in it. And I heated the limbs three time in th e first day . In order to get it reasonably straight.

It has a bit of a high crown, but it's more of the light plays tricks.  They're not the best pics.
