Here's some of the Woodwork I managed to finish for Christmas.

Osage hair sticks bees wax finish.

ERC pinned with Osage Dowels, with Bison horn and Whitetail antler used for the hat rack.

Mesquite Hummingbird with Tru-Oil, strung with Cat's Eye and Brass spacers.

Osage and Tru-Oil, arrow wrenches.

Jet Plane for my three year old.
Osage fuselage with Elm wings and tail, fiebrings Red Dye, pinned with Osage dowels.

Only hand tools were used...

    Cool!  You remind me of my Grandfather.  Only he had a couple of fingers with parts missing.  He worked in a saw mill in Alabama when he was young.  Or......are you in the Ykusa! :o

I'm a Terrible Wood Pack Rat.
Specially Osage, Black Walnut,  Mesquite, ERC, Pecan and the like.
If there is clean grain in a cut off I'll clean it up and stack it till I need it.

I came up with the Hummingbird design years ago for my Mother.
And have been carving them ever since...  :)

The Coat Rack is my first try at Nice Furnature.
Christmas gift for the Missus...
She putts up with my "Wood Addiction"....  ;)

You made me Chuckle Stickbender...  :)
I've used the Ykusa story a time or two along with others...
I lost the fingers when I was two years old.
Pump House Accident.
The Doc was able to save my Index Finger.
They never found the end of my middle finger...
I use it to my advantage during bouts of Spontaneous Sign Language...

Great looking stuff! Hmm.... I think I might be able to pull off some osage chopsticks ::)
