Title: osage sapwood bow for my oldest

I just finished this one up. I have made bows for my other two younger children while my oldest shot a modern long bow but he finally decided he would rather shoot one of mine. It has been a long time since I finished a bow but it felt good to build this one. Its basically just like my other bows just a bit lighter.  It has the same leather grip as the last few and also snake skins because his siblings bows all have them. I didn't outline the skins this time because the sapwood did it for me. Here are a few pics. Ill get the full draw up after work for yall.

It's always nice to see another one of your bows.  It looks like a fine shooter.  Your oldest should be proud to shoot something their dad made :).  Great job

Thanks everyone. I was really feeling guilty about neglecting my bowshop time.   You guys ever get in a funk when you just dont have the urge to build anything? Sometimes I just can't get motivated and other times I cant stop.

Thanks greg. That one is my oldest elijah. He isnt that into shooting but he does go with me to mojam every year. Hopefully he will shoot a lot more with me now. He was the last of my kids to get his own bow.
