Finally got around to snapping pics, this one was done a few weeks back. Its 66" ntn, 44.5" @ 28". It holds a bit of reflex, maybe a 1/2". I did a REAL bone headed move on this bow. I left it braced from 7 pm until 6 am. Guess you could say its shot in now. It didn't do anything noticeable to the bow, however. I shot it several hundred times before I left it braced and it still shoots the same to my hands. The handle and tips are osage as well as the bow, just much older. The bow came from wood cut this spring. Other than that, its a pretty "vanilla" bow. Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcome. Just be nice.

That's a beauty Chris...Love the front profile! Really nice bend...
-
Great lookin bow and beautiful full draw! Thanks for not covering up the handle, I like the look of a wood handle without the leather.
-
Sweet bend & I love them tips!... Brian
-
my kind of bow...just a simple (lol) stick. i laugh cause a good bow is anything but simple.
-
I'm digging it! Done that myself working out in the shop late except mine was strung for 2 days
-
I really like the grip and the tips!
-
That looks great. I've been patiently waiting for you to post this one. I like how the wood looks so much darker at the grip and tips. Cool bow :)
-
Nothing wrong with that one Pearlie. I believe in sweating a bow but 11 hours is a little excessive. At least now you know it can take it. ;D
-
Never get tired of seeing sweetly bent Osage. Nice shape to it.
-
nice looking bow, i bet it's pretty fast with those thin tips!
-
Nice clean bow. I wouldn't worry about bracing it overnight. When I hunt in the mountains my bows are braced all day with no ill effects.
-
Really nice!
-
The bow looks great. Those are some narrow tips.
-
I like the color contrast on the Osage.
-
Tiller is spot on Chris - My kind of Bow. As always - nicely done Sir ! bob

Nice work Chris. Looks like a sweet shooter. I like those dark osage tips and handle too, great idea.
-
Nice looking bow - I like vanilla!
-
Another fine bow Mr. Pearlie! I was wondering when you'd have it done.
Really cool how the osage contrasts.
-
Chris, i dare you to make an ugly bow lol i bet you cant do it.
-
Cool! Me likey! Josh

Hey Pearl Guns, ever made a batch of homemade ice cream and forget to put in the vanilla extract? It's really not good! Trust me. I partially melted the ice cream batch, added in the necessary vanilla and put it back into the mixer for another session. MUCH BETTER!!!
That being said, even plain vanilla can be downright delicious. Call this bow Two Scoops and put her to work!

Thats a good looking bow.
-
Nice like the way the handle & tips look.

Thanks to everyone of you for your comments, they mean a lot to me. This bow was made to help me fight my Bowyersitis. I have it bad. The weight was made low for an easy draw. The length left long-er for a smooth draw. And the grip contoured, center cut and exact for a repeatable draw and shot. Im really hoping a winter of shooting this bow will get me back in shooting shape. Ive been embarrassed on the range for 2 years. This bow will be my shot savior! If all goes well, the 50-52# twin I have floor tillered will merge right in and Ill be at my fightin' weight again.
Thanks all!

Can't believe you gashed the side of that handle like that...or was it like that already ::) ..must've liked mine so much ya had to do it to yours, even after ya harped on me for doing the same thing ::)
If you can't shoot that thing then you've got some issues...turned out nice ;)
-
sweet bendpearlie, that one will kill your bowyeritis fer sure
-
Nothing wrong with that one PD. I like that you left the handle naked. The feel of a wooden grip is hard to beat. You know just what the bow is doing. I got a messed up elbow that has been giving me fits for the last few months and I have been working on a hhb mid forties type that I hope will let this heal a bit and still feed my addiction. It's a heck of thing to enjoy something so much that you will hurt yourself to do it. It reminds me of one of those lab monkeys that will take a jolt of electricity just for a hit of crack.... :D
-
Nice looking bow. I like the handle.
-
Sweeeet lookin bow you got there PD.....

-
And again, thanks to all of you for your comments. She is a plain Janer to look at, but a nice and easy shooter.
-
Plain Jane is plain beautiful! nice bow!
-
I have always looked for your posts and your bows, I don't think you could make a ugly bow everyone I've see is awesome and so it this one, Great Job.
-
Braced for that long and still retains reflex? Now that's a bow. Wonder if it had to do with the color of the wood. ;) Sweet bow man. :)
-
Nice job, Chris! Plain & simple ... just like a stickbow should be.
-
Nice one,i like that there are so many bows with cut shelfs lately ;D
I find it easier to find right spined arrows if there is a bit of radius on the shelf
