Living where I do, in the hills south of Buffalo we get a lot of snow. I live in one of the snow belts coming off of lake Erie, and until the lake freezes we get "lake effect" snow and some years it will snow everyday until the lake freezes.
This year it started snowing the last week of our deer season, it snowed for 11 days straight, we got more than 60 inches, then in the next 3 days it all melted! It's snowing again, and has been for the last 3 days.
I only saw 1 deer while hunting the last week of the season, but it saw me first. :-X

Kevin,
We need to get out with the snowshoes and practice up before this year's snowshoe shoot.
Take care,
Brian
