Merry Christmas everyone! I was out playing in the woods and found these, what made them? I live in central NY
-
Quick guess looks like rabbit.
-
It looked like one foot of the animal. And they were like 1 or 2 foot apart.
-
If your in Texas, I would say Chupa Cabra. Definitely Chupa Cabra. 😳
-
I would have to agree with Polar. Rabbits sit with two feet side by side in the front.
-

Shhh be Vewy Qwiet.....
-
you've got the right answer.
-
Looks like a squirrel to me. Rabbit often times have their front pads offset while squirrels are symmetrical. Plus that seems short.
-
Cottontail to be more precise. Remember, rabbits and hairs jump or hop for 90% of their movement. It would look like it was a single foot about 12 inches apart. But it's a bounding gate. If it was a larger animal, the strides would be staggard and further apart.

I've seen squirrel tracks that had the front feet offset. It's rabbit due to the size of the track.

Let it melt long enough and you can say it was bigfoot! ;D

There's a Squatch in these woods... :o
