Title: Christmas Knife
Post by: caveman2533 on December 17, 2013, 08:03:31 pm
This is the knife I have been working on for the Christmas Exchange.  I want to do more of these this year. I have some awesome slabs of Obsidian to work with.   Elk antler handle capped with Arizona Ironwood and a simple leather fillet where it joins the blade. Blade is dark green Burns Green Obsidian. 12 inches long.

Great piece Steve!  Hey are u a fly tyer too?  I studied under a famous flytyer and friend that past away Dan Pompernick from Garfield NJ ...He taught me a lot and when I tell you that man was like some of us addicted to his craft ..flying all over the world to get rare feathers...had a salmon fly that auctioned off for 20,000$  insane but was it gorgeous .  Steve it looks like a jig to make bow string too..sorry about the questions I dont want to take aw2ay from that beautiful knife...
