I'm wondering who's got a good recommendation for a bow quiver. I'm talking about the type that hold 3-4 arrows that you can strap onto your bow. I think I want want for an osage bow I'll be building for myself that will be my go to hunting bow. Anybody got anything to say about one brand to the next. I see 3Rivers has a bunch...

Great Northern is a tough one to beat Steve.

When I shoot the FG bow I still use the old kwikie kwiver(SP?) I dont usually put a quiver on my self bows though. I use a side quiver or carry just three arrows in hand. dp

I shoot with a Big Jim on my fg bows and imagine it would work great on self bows too. It's a two piece design that straps to each limb. The arrows hold the quiver together when off the bow. It's pretty easy to attach and detach as well.

GFA 3 arrow mini's are a nice light weight non-obtrusive bow quiver as well. About $50 last I checked.

Big Jim is my choice.Pappy uses them on his self bows and I use it on my self and glass bows, too. They fit really tight and no noise.

kanati quivers by annewakee archery are also some very nice bow quivers.

Could always go crazy and get a Selway slip on. I used them on laminated bows, but have yet to get one near My self bows. Back quiver of reed or animal hide seems to compliment a self /primitive bow much better...JMHO

Great feedback guys, thanks.
That Big Jim quiver is the one I've seen around and have had my eye on. I think that is what I'm looking at. What sizing is most likely best...medium?
Mohawk, I agree. I've woven some basket quivers and made some leather quivers. I'm just wanting one of these jobs as well and want the right one.
Thanks guys.
