I have a buddy who brought me a timber rattler skin from lousiana, but here in ohio theyre endangerd. Do you think i can still have it in ohio?
-
You might contact the DNR and ask them. Don't tell them who you just in case they say no. ;)

It's the same here in Texas.
I would Not want to get Caught with a Timber Skin in Texas.
No matter where it came from.
A Bow with Timber Skin installed on it received from outside the state would be easier.
Long as you can show them where the Bowyer lives.
Plus Once they are in your house Questioning you about the Timber they will ask you Other Questions as well.
If it were me?
I would keep it and Not talk about it or show it to anyone.
Then Trade it out of state, to someone that can legally posses it in their state.
Not advising You to break the law, just W.W.G.D.
I hate wasting a resource (dead snake)...

I think you should trade it to me just to be safe.
