So I changed a string on my daughers spinet becasue the note was sounding weird. Still isn't fixed >:(
but I have all this old highly springly and flexible piano wire that seems a shame to throw away.
It hit me last night. A fell a could make a semi primitive Snaro point.
Next arrow project Snaro from piano wire.

Makes a nice vent pick, on a flint lock, and even on a cap lock. ;) And a scraper, and cleaner for other gun parts, and hard to reach areas, and an oil applicator, to hard to reach places, without pouring lots of oil, to get in the tight places, and then having to wipe up the excess. Guitar strings, leader wire, etc. works great.

Makes really nice snares.

I should have thought of that when I took apart a piano and used the spruce soundboard for arrow shafts. That would have been using more of the animal.
