One of my buddies and I scored big this year. I thought it was going to be tough with all the big fires we had this year. Both bucks were taken in a general hunt unit one early season and one late season. Both were rifle hunts. Pictures to come!

Holy crap!! Nice Muleys. Those are brutes!!

Wow! Muy Grande muleys! Congratulations! Josh

Great deer man, burn areas can be a bust or great. Glad to here it was the later. We had a lot of fires this year. But if the Beatles didn't get the trees the fires would. To me fires are better than Beatles, (when no one gets hurt) because fire cooks em.

Hey thanks guys for all the replies. We had fun this year for sure. I know a lot of seasons in other states go longer so good luck to all of you guys out there!

WOW! Awesome bucks there riley. I wish we had muleys here in Michigan. They are up towards the top of the list for me. Would love to go take one with the bow next year, just not sure if it'll be in the budget. I have to find some decent federal or state land, so I can do a DIY hunt somewhere. Thanks for sharing.

Those are some great deer, congrats!
While bow hunting for elk in Colorado this year my buddy and me spotted a mule deer feeding towards us. He was at least as big as the one your buddy shot. That deer feed to twenty yards of us and had no clue we were there. We had no tag in our pocket for a deer. I think I wept a little after he left....Awesome animal...Congrats again.
