I am a left handed shooter. Do I want to use left or right wing feathers, or does it make a difference at all?
-
I've heard it doesn't matter as long as you use all right or left hand on each arra.

Have to agree with cowboy, all left or all right.

I use both and can't tell a bit of difference. Like was said, just don't mix them on the same arrow.

Hi,
Yes, just don't mix them up on one arrow. LW or RW... doesn't make a bit of difference. However, if you fletch other than straight, match the offset with the feather. In other words, if you're going to fletch with a 5 degree right offset, or right helical, use right wing feathers. I like a slight offset for target only arrows, and a helical fletch with larger feathers for broadheads. It takes a bit of experimentation to find what works for you.

I am right handed and usually use Left wing, for no good reason just seems to clear the
rest a little better.I have used right wing and can't tell much if any difference.Just a
preference for me. :)

I agree with Pappy. I have one bow where I shoot off the knuckle right handed and I use left wing feathers for it. If I shoot right wing, I usually end upp shooting off the band aide. Left wing clears the hand, but the right wing digs in.
