Title: A great bow scraper ( free )
Post by: Little John on November 16, 2013, 10:17:01 am
Just get ahold of a worn out chain saw bar, the more worn out the better.  A worn out bar has a bur on the bottom corners  that really removes those yellow curly shavings. They are big enough to get ahold of with a hand on each end and do some serious scraping and can be picked up at probably any saw shop or off of your own saw if you do lots of fire wood cutting. You might still need a smaller scraper for detail work but I like these for fast wood removal in the beginning stages of bow roughing out a bow.                  Kenneth

I have several garden repair shops near by, I will check with them. Sounds like a good idea.
