I was checking a cubby set I made for coon yesterday in the field behind my grandparents house. When I got to the set my first coyote was laying down waiting for me. She was caught with a #11 Victor, those are stout little traps! ;D

MJ - Congrats on the catch ! That seems to be a "Teen Ager", one of this years Pups Mom just kicked out ? That will be best Pelt of the Year for sure - the best "Fur Coat" they will ever wear. I shot one with a Selfbow & Judo point at 12 yards a few moons ago - nicest Pelt I ever handled ! Bob

Chamookman - it was furred up really nice especially for this time of year. They are still a little bit blue here.
