I was contacted to make a replica of a bow seen in the Game of Thrones series. It's in the first episode of the first season. Looks like a fibreglass copy of a Manchu bow or something http://images.wikia.com/gameofthrones/images/e/ee/Jon,_Bran_and_Robb.jpg
Anyways I made a copy of a copy with linen backed red oak and glued on douglas fir siyahs. I heated the oak into a gull winged shape before adding the siyahs. Kept total reflex down to 4" which is now 2" after shooting in. It's a great shooter even though it's a little long at 66". 45lbs at 28" Don't have a camera so here is a quick webcam youtube link.

Very graceful the way those siyahs bend the limbs. Nice work! Haven't seen you on here for a while. Good to see you haven't disappeared .

I like that. If you decide to make another a build along would be appreciated. I've never done glued siyahs.

Looks like you nailed it!
