Meeting my brother after 8)ears,he'''s been in japan and I'm in central canada.we got to gether in nova scotia.I promptly dislocated my collar bone where it meets my shoulder Doing judo style jumping shoulder rolls(ugh ,can't shoot my bows for now)!anyways got some wicked rasps and a pair of cool hunting boots and he got a bow.

Too bad about the shoulder. Those boots are like the ones the Japanese snipers wore, in WWII to help in climbing trees.

I love your new hunting boots. I bet they're pretty quite. ;)

Shinto rasps are my absolute, positive, without question favorites. Your going to love them bushy. Glad you met up with your long lost brother.
-
Shinto rasps are the best and I've always wanted a pair of those boots.
You got a good haul.

Wow! Sure enough Shintos and a pair of "tabi". My Nippon-jin is pretty rusty, but I think that is what they are called. They will take some getting used to unless you wear flip flops (almost said thongs *snicker*).
I prefer spicy crab rolls to jumping shoulder rolls. But I have eaten enough of those sometimes to cause injury! >:D

My bro said these are japanese work boots and not a novelty item!he got the rasps @ 12bucks a piece and the boots 20 at a local hardwhare shop.I tried the boots out and found them very comfortable, can feel every twig!the really weird thing is when they get wet ,it feels like your feet are wet but not at all soggy wet and the dry in no time,if that makes sense.
-
Sounds like them boots are the ninja's pajamas for ground stalking.

Went thru many pair of tabi in my Ninpo days.. they are comfortable and sensitive to feel the ground but they dont hold up to thorns and such.... Brian
