Well my name is Tom and I am new to this awesome site and loving it, i browsed around for about a week while making my first bow and my backing is drying as i type this. It will be done tomorrow and ready to fling arrows. May not be a perfect but definitely learned from it and ready to make more. It's a red oak board bow I will post pics tomorrow. I already bought another board to attempt a wide recurve.

Pat I have been really watching your threads alot because I am in NC as well, in Raeford. Do you know of any places to hunt hogs in nc? Thanks alot.

I'm also looking for a spot to hunt hogs here in the mountains. I'm not sure where Raeford is but I'd guess around river swamps and drainages.
