Paul, I'm ready for that rock run if you are.  :)  Yep, most of the pieces were dry, hard stone but not too difficult to knap.  Better than Alibates overall.

its always nice to see your work . i just hope one day i can turn a point out half as good as yours. thanks for posting. i have been makeing points but ant been able to  post them due to my computer broke down on me and im on a frands as soon as i can ill post sum pics.  8)

Thanks guys.  I really enjoyed working with the Tecovas.  Lots of good surprises with the color and the rock holds a very good edge.
