I have an osage bow I am finishing up that is going to be in the 40# range around 28" and is about 66 " long. It is from Osage with dark red streaks all through the yellow wood and also has a rainbow sheen to it in the light like a water puddle in a parking lot after a rain. I need Wych Elm specifically, and would like at least 3 bows worth. I have a band saw so I can cut the stave in half in possiable. I will put pics up of the bow later on.

I have some sort of elm on my lease. Just a possibility. Check out my posts. One of them has me asking for a tree id and I have some sort of elm that nobody could specify. I'm local too.

You realise wych elm is native to europe and would be really expensive to ship?

I wasn't aware its native over there, but I was looking for here in the usa. I guess I should add that at the moment I no longer have anything to trade for it for a while...
