Apparently 19 pounds at 16 inches is still a tad much for my 8 year old girl!
Might do a little more wood removal to try and lower the weight, but its getting a little scary thin as it is, so I may leave it and let my girl grow into it.
34" ttt, 33"ntn, 1-1/2" wide at the fades, tapering to 3/8" at the tips. 2-1/2" grip. Semi-lever tips for the last 4 inches.
Apple was cut last summer from a tree I found growing wild, checked real bad so I cut it down to 35 inches. Used the scrap chunks in my Little Chief smoker to smoke some sockeye salmon, and some habenero peppers......
Tiller needs work, I know it, gonna carefully proceed. Heat treated it twice during tillering.

Actually the tiller looks pretty good when I look at it. Even pulling it with three fingers instead of two might help her out as well. The bow looks really good. I see you're using a Mastercraft clamp. You must be Canadian. Where are you from?

Thanks Bender!
I'm most likely gonna do a small tweak, then just leave it alone. My girl is pretty strong, but I'll probably just build a simpler D-bow out of some Douglas maple 1"ers that I cut 3 weeks ago (dried out now!)
I live in the southern interior of British Columbia, the "Dry Belt", semi-arid desert, on the Thompson River.

This is just like my little yew bow but with levers and a better tiller :P nice work on the bow.

Cool little bow. Could probably bend more right off the fades, but it will probably be ok. Very cool, I like the levers. :)
