Lost my cousin last month. Lost one of my wifes favorite uncles today! He was a vietnam vet. He was doing well, totaly unexpected. Wheels still spinnin!

Not to Step on Bens toes here,but i wanted to relay,the extra significance of the Passing of his cousin.
His cousin was a great loss to the Native community,as he was one of the last,if not the Last,fluent Maidu language speakers.He was teaching the language to others in his classes and i hope,that there are students who will carry this traditional language on,so it will not die.I hope its not too late.
