Hey all, gotta say, love the site and I've been lurking a while, and learning a lot. Just moved into a new place and finally can start working in a shop again and really, really want to learn to make bows to add to the arrow making fever I caught. Don't suppose there are any willing mentors around? It would be nice to talk to folks about bows without getting looked at like I'm crazy.

Mike and Jason Westvang of Dryad Bows are in Weatherford, just west of Ft Worth. Good people. Careful though! You might walk out with a bow!

Sounds like we're getting a few bowyers in the DFW area. We're all gonna have to get together some time.

I chime in from time to time, but most of the time I just "Lurk" and learn. ;D
Also from the Fort Worth area.
I haven't had much time to build a bow in the past 2 years. Hopefully that will change in the near future.
