I was working on my sandstone wall up my driveway and found this cute lil fella. Lucky I saw it a second before my pups did . It is complete with sulfar yellow tail so I would imagne there are a few more around, likely born last few days.

Awww! Those little babies are the best. I love seeing them with the caudal lure still nice and bright.

Big ol' head already. Cool little bugger.

It will be released unharmed away from the house.I just need to keep an eye out for its siblings.

What is it? We don't have a lot of worms in Florida like that.

I'd bet that "worm" is just as potent as mother.
I haven't run across a baby copperhead i n a few years , but I have a couple of adults that was given to me in the freezer that has little ones in them , told some of my fellow OSS members that and they said to use them for arrow crests ( that would make a nice set with a copperhead backed bow ).
