95% ends on the right as unsweetened applesauce, 5% on the left as waste.

I'll sweeten to taste later with brown sugar and some fresh ground cinnamon. Or maybe it will go back in the oven low and slow again to become apple butter.

Repeating process now with tomatoes....plum tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes all in one batch!
No rum, no wine, 'just maters.

Looks familiar LOL! My kids and I picked these 3 weeks ago, and my wife spent the next week canning 45 quarts of applesauce, and 10 quarts of applebutter(the kids love it with peanut butter instad of jam).

Now ain'cha just hoping I draw your name for the Christmas exchange???
By the way, that big ol' roaster fulla apples cooked down into just 4 pints of apple butter. I used a whole cup of brown sugar, so it is a little tart, too.

So where can i get a squeezo at never seen that kinda grinder before
-
Looks good JW..Made a mess of jam this year..Apple butter, Apple ruebarb and sour cherry..Just got the grapes to go maybe this weekend.. Squeezo is the answer.. Mine hooks up to the front of my kitchenaid ::)..
Thanks Leroy

You can search "Squeezo" online and find plenty of retailers. But before you do so, take a baby aspirin and have 911 on speed dial before you look at the price.
-
It all looks good.
I squeezed a bunch of apple about a week ago and got 5 gallon of cider. Hope to do it again after a frost if the apples are still hanging on to the tree. They get sweeter after a frost!!!
-
Dang that looks great!
-
JW... I see your apples/maters and raise you a grape... My version of squeezo
5lbs of grapes = 6 1/2 cups of juice...Had to pic on saturday
Thanks Leroy
-
MMMM, them's some good looking grapes!

JW ifin I lived the states we might have to start a jith "jam in the hat" .... I hate to break international trade and customs laws... Spend 3 years in the klink for trafficking jam... Ah there's gotta be a way >:D
Thanks Leroy
-
Yeah! I could totally "jam" on that idea. Jam in the hat! Maybe expand it to jam/jelly/preserve/conserve/pickle, or just call it Jar In The Hat? Beekeepers might jump in and send a jar of honey, too. I'd end up getting the short end and receive a jar of pickled beets. Now I am not so sure.
So, a typical entry would be:
Name
Address
Food allergy/dislike
I wonder how many people would jump on this one?
-
Leroy;
Just list it on the Customs forms as "Craft Supplies''. ;)
-
And, I'm in, Pickled Pappy ya :)
-
We be jammin'...Jar in the hat I like it 8)
Eddie that's a good idea.....Great now I have raggae music in my head
