Well I made it out here yet again, I think after this one I'll have 3.5 years logged in this s**t hole :o Sure is a lot quieter over here these days ops tempo has dropped a lot. I'll be getting my knapping tools sent over pretty soon, I havent really seen any local stone worth a crap yet. I'll keep you guys posted and maybe put up some pics when I get some points made.

Here's hoping you have a highly UNeventful tour, ...though the odds are not much in your favor there I suppose.  Do I recall correctly that you are engaged in private contractor work?  Grow an eye in the back of your head if ya can and don't let nobody get behind you that shouldn't.

Thanks Pappy, what a hunt it was ! I was in Silverton Colorado 12-13,000 ft above sea level. Got within 40 yds of Elk three times but didnt get any opportunity to shoot. I'll be back at it next year. I'll tell you what, that altitude will make a man out of ya !
