I just finished this one up. It's 62" TtT and #58 @ 28". Clear glass, osage veneers, red elm cores, black walnut and osage I-beam riser.
This is my 3rd F'n-glass >:D

That is a very nice bow you have there. Plus you have my weight and draw length down perfect. ::)
-
that is beautiful Duck.very nice job buddy.
-
That's a pretty combination of wood, how's she shoot? :)
-
beautiful. Absolutly beautiful. How do you tiller a fg bow, its so thin that any normal method would destroy the belly ???
-
Thanks guys. It shoots pretty good :)
you don't really have to "tiller" a fiberglass bow if you are using a known working design. You just figure out the lam stack for your desired draw weight and then cut the profile. If you do a little planning it should bend perfectly without help. But you can tiller a little from the sides. IMO fiberglass bows are way easier than selfbows.

The duck has gone to the dark side. O well that glass is clear so we can still see the real bow within >:D

Ha Ha Ha... ;)
The first bow I ever made was a glass bow :) then I went to backed bows and now I am going to stick to self bows. After this one of course... ;D

I guess it's ok:)
-
That is just one slick bow, wish I could make one like that, very nice work.
-
Nice work Duck. I like it.
-
Beautiful! :o Very nice, and well done. You said it shoots "OK", any problems? Hand shock, etc. . Is it pretty fast? Either way, it is beautiful! 8)
