Title: Will Snake skins add poundage

I thought  i read some were that snake skins added about 5 Lb. to your draw.

No they dont,not what i hear anyway.
But some of the big ones, boas and phytons can act like rawhide and add some protection.

No increase in draw weight.

Not all snake skins are created equal...

I have a few Red Tail Boa skins that are as thick as Roo Rawhide.
And the Ball Python skin that found its way to PatB's place recently was pretty thick as well...

I have no data to back it up as of yet but I hope to test this very question in the near future... :)

But the bottom line is I Ain't No Boyer... so take my words with a grain of salt at this time...   O:)

Nope, and neither does rawhide or really thick skins.
