I think I have seen this topic before but cannot locate at the moment.
I have a little Minwax from a project. Would it be OK as an arrow finish? How about spray paint? I have blue & white spray paint, semigloss finish. I have flat black & brown spray paint also.
What do you guys use?

I tried spray paint on cane but it flakes off.
Go for the minwax, it works fine on oak shafts ;)

I've used both with good results on POC shafts.

I've got a book called, North American Bows, Arrows, and Quivers. It has many detailed drawings of arrows from the Smithsonian etc. Its fun to paint arrows to match the historic ones with different ochre pigments.
