Title: osage D/R
Post by: missilemaster on July 04, 2013, 03:25:27 pm
Hey guys,
I worked on this bow at the classic too, but I didn't bring it past brace because of the humidity. It had a bacote handle that popped  off while tillering so I replaced it with layered cork so it would bend slightly. Turned out pretty good. 50#@26" 56"ntn  1" reflex. thanks for looking

                             -Cody

Thanks a lot Lyle! That riser you made I keep coming back to, again, very beautiful. A lot of possiblity with using small diameter stuff as far as character is concerned! :D

Looks flawless Cody! Rested, braced and full draw are all perfect looking to me and I'd bet its a smooth shooter too.
Nice work on the handle wrap also, what is the fur type on the handle trim?
Great bow!

Sweet curves and handle on that one, Cody! Those limbs look to have the shape of your take-down recurve. You must have used the same caul. ?

Very pretty... Not sure that laced leather with fur trimming doesn't have erotic undertones ::)

Cody that is one sweet bow. I wish you would do a how-to on your tip overlays. I would be tickled if I could get them half that nice.

Nice one Cody. It definitly looks a lot like the one I just posted...except mine has the big split on the limb ::)
The d/r profile is probably my favorite design. Very fast and low on handshock. Plus being a selfbow dead quiet. Well done again on a fine bow.
