Title: Went for a hike and...

John and I went for a hike tonight in preparation for the coming elk trip. As we were cutting across the back field we were envisioning different scenarios and mentally preparing for every eventuality. John looks down and says " bet there's artifacts in this field." I'm thinking no way cause I've never found one before. And you guessed it!

He picked up the little white preform on the right. I walked about 5 steps and picked up the agate basin with the broken tip. I bout fell over I was so excited.

Pretty good omen, if you believe that sorta thing.

After breakfast this morning, we finished up a few points that were started the night before. John made a nice adena type out of some raw Burlington using Abo. I broke a few and made a few.

Then we had a quick target shoot before he headed back home.
