hang them from the ceiling, people don't usually look up. Or hide them behind the curtains, or under the mattress(although she will probably notice the last one)

^ This works wonders. I did it. Great idea, and when they notice, you just argue that the space was being wasted anyways, it's either that or you find somewhere to stick em where they are going to cause problems >:D
