I've had a beard since high school (wasn't allowed in private school). Lately I have let it grow out. People comment on mine often and I always admire fellow beards as well.
If you got em, show em.

I may have to trim soon with this Alabama heat. I shaved clean on Halloween night. Other than keeping my upper lip trimmed so I can eat this is 7 1/2 months worth

I start growing a beard in September and keep it most of the winter. I usually don't trim it until I kill a buck. Sometimes it gets pretty long. The wife hates it and makes me trim it. Unfortunately women have an unfair advantage to get their way >:( When I'm done caring what she thinks expect me to grow a PatB beard

Lmao! Now how am I sposed to answer that Clint! Lol! I forgot about them whiskers that Wills sportin'. He's gettin some pretty impressive growth going to be sure!
Pearly- they are a bit course I have to admit. Lol!
I was kinda disappointed at the classic this year Chris, last year you looked like that pic! I almost didn't recognize ya!
Clint- you're right about the unfair advantage. There's only so many sacrifices that I'm willing to make to keep my beard! Lol! Josh

HAHA HI-larious Blackhawk!
Clint, this is a thread about beards not for you to show off your hunting prowess.
;) ;D ;Ddpg

I don't even have a pic of my beard at it's longest was almost as long as Pat's and red and black I was quite a sight. Ron
-
Cant grow one! Guess its the Cherokee blood. :)
-
+1. Can't grow decent facial hair. Native blood prevails over the Russian with me. But the flip side is the hair on my head grows thick. Ponytail hanging into the quiver silences arrow rattle, too, so it's practical.

Wasn't trying to Derik. The only pics of me with a beard have dead deer in them. Besides, did you see the shot placement :-[ It was effective though.

I can grow a beard and have done so, but dang... it's gets itchy after about 10 days. Can't seem to get past that stage, so off it comes. The Boss don't like the wire brush on the mug much either!

Mine in 77-78 was about as long as Pat's when I was going to Saudi to work, Have to find some pictures to scan. I can't have one with work now, never know when a Chem' Plant is going to blow up or release ammonia.
-
This is my only option. :( Can't grow a decent one.

You have to get a good seal on those respirators. They make us shave once a year for a fit test but they don't say much about facial hair the rest of the year.

I have enough european heritage to grow a beautiful tricolor tufts on my chin and mutton chops, and enough american indian to have permanent bald spots everywhere else.
But here is my pops this summer:

Well as I said earlier I shaved clean last Halloween (7 1/2months ago). I shaved because I wanted to participate in No Shave November. My plan was to take a pic every day of November and watch the progress. Turns out I'm to lazy to take pics everyday. I did take some pics in the various stages of shaving.

I love it Patrick... that's too Cool/Funny... :)
Well I usually have some facial hair year round.
But I started growing out my full beard last September in prepration for a Pilgrimage to the Tennessee Classic.
Told my wife that I'd shave it when I returned from said Pilgrimage to the Classic.
Well I didn't make it to the Classic do to issues with "She Who Shall Not Be Named"...
So the Classic came and went...
"SWSNBN" says, "So the Classic is over, are you gonna shave?"
I looked at her and said with a loving smile, (which looks a lot like my War Cry Grimace under this hair)...
"I agreed to shave off my beard as soon as I returned from the Classic."
"And I will... Just as soon as I Get Back From the Classic..."
Good thing I like my Couch...
Looking forward to seeing Y'all at the "2014 Tennessee Classic"! 8)
My beard should be at least an inch longer by then... :)

I used to stop shaving every october till end of may. Last 15 years work wont let me grow a beard. Soon as i get out of the plant its gonna get UGLY!
-
Very nice gus
-
Ok you asked for it...First one was in 1994 about 14 years a growing with my Ernie dog at Black & Tan Days.
I cut it then 10 years later in 2004 joking around with some friends.
If I growed one now it would be pretty gray I'd say.

Some nice whiskers being posted.
Gus that beard is awesome.

Ok everyone but Santa needs to shave! lol >:D

I grow one out ever fall to keep warm through hunting season. My wife is understanding of it, though she hates it. In the summer its a no go. She says that if I dont shave, she wont either. I challenged her once on that.... I shave in the summer now.
-
Well I didn't have a photo so I used my phone to take a shot.To bad my arm's not longer I would have got the whole thing . 8)I came out of high school with a beard, shaved one time in 72 , I thought it was hot out then I got sunburned and grew it back out.I had some surgery 3 years ago and the docs cut the right side off.So this is a little over three years.

Mine was upset when I cut mine. She don't like it this long but she don't like it clean either.
@Beadman: I may have to make a dogs thread also. That's a good looking one. Never had a hound but I have 2 wannabe squirrel dogs. One of the 2 wants to double as a hog catch dog as well.
