Well I'm starting medical school next week and as a result will likely take some time away from this community to focus on my studies. But before I do I just wanted to say thanks to the community for being such an amazing group. Over the past few years and especially the last year I've had the privilege of meeting many of you guys in person. It's unbelievable the kindness, generosity, talent, and skill you guys have! It warms my heart knowing I can meet someone I barely know and feel like close friends. So thanks everyone for the years of camaraderie and fun you've given me. It's meant a heck of a lot! :)

Good luck with your studies in medicine, Ryan! Work hard, study hard, and you will become a valued member of the medical community. It's OK along the way to take a little time out to still maybe scrape a bit of wood or fling a few arrows! 8)

Congrats.
I've always wondered how the medical school thing worked. Do you need a full bachelor's degree in a pre-med program before you can get into med school? Is it essentially like graduate studies just with less research and more lectures?

I had heard you mention "Starting School" soon and was wondering what your field of study would be. Never got around to asking.
It was good to meet you at the Classic this year.

Thanks guys! It means a lot. I'm expecting the worst but I'm sure I'll be on here and there and may even be able to get some knapping in! We'll see how much free time I get to be able to come to gatherings and stuff. Also I'll be at Michigan State's College of Osteopathic medicine in East Lansing. :)
