Title: overlays.
Post by: Squirrelslayer on June 06, 2013, 08:31:54 am
Hey everyone.  I'm working on a bow  with a walnut handle and walnut overlays.  I wad wondering if any of you guys had pictures of your nocks with overlays.  And maybe some pictures of glued on handles.  If you could that would be great. Thanks SS

Look up my Hackberry static build along in the build along section. If it doesnt answer nearly every question your brain can come up with, your only looking at the pics. It covers heat tempering, steam bending, tip overlays, sinew/hide glue, snake skins and some tillering.

I usually use the google search engine, and then click on the image tab....... You get tons of pics to view.

I second that, I use google image search for finding all kinds of stuff. It works great if your looking for a specific thing too, like if you need a certain type of glue or tool or something and you can't find it for sale online anywhere, image search works a lot of the time by finding the picture that is on the site it is for sale at. I also use it all the time to find old threads and topics on forums like these I can't find no more.
